What we did:
strategy / identity / Web Design
Sector:
tech
Year:
2022
The Ask:
Yield Engineering Systems (YES) spent years building up their reputation in the manufacturing engineering space, designing and delivering equipment instrumental in everything from building smartphones to genome sequencing.

While their relationships were strong on the customer front (universities, manufacturers, labs, etc.), they were looking to attract top talent, investors, and potential acquirers and found themselves in competition with sleek-looking Silicon Valley tech companies. YES turned to us to help them bring their visual identity up to speed with their level of innovation.
The Solution:
Dealing with highly technical information, we wanted YES’s visual system to be as clear and elegant as possible. We moved them towards digital layouts that had plenty of breathing room but also communicated the excitement and intrigue of high-tech wizardry at the nano level. We also pivoted their overall aesthetic towards darker, sleek tones, situating them in the visual world of cutting-edge tech companies forging the future.
